Grab Reality by the Horns
Accu-Steel will sponsor at the 41st annual Iowa Cattlemen’s Association Convention this year at Prairie Meadows Events Center in Altoona from Dec. 9-11.
This year’s theme for the convention is “Grab Reality by the Horns,” with speaking engagements highlighting the challenges of weather and pricing issues for cattle producers this past year.
This year’s entertainment will feature inspirational speaker Mike Schlappi and the Jason Brown Band. Schlappi, a gold medalist athlete on the men’s national wheelchair basketball team, will speak about overcoming challenges to succeed and will speak on Dec. 10. The Jason Brown Band will perform the night of Dec. 9 and is one of country music’s up-and-coming artists.
Early registration ends at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2. Attendees registering before Dec. 2 will be able to enjoy all convention events and meals during the three-day convention for only $75. Full registration after Dec. 2 will be $125. For educational events only, registration will be $25 and will not include meals or entertainment.
